Our grandchildren had the most fun with an old-fashioned apple corer/slicer my husband found somewhere. They all took turns helping Grandpa make "magic apples!"

We had a nice celebration, with family and several friends. Like you, we even had a birthday - our grandson turned 9 on Sunday. Glad you had a good celebration!
Ah, a nine year old! Our oldest grandchild is 8 1/2--isn't it a wonderful age? Glad you had a good celebration, too, and wishing you a great rest of the year!
