Plotting Strategy

I'm thinking about buying some clothesline and clothespins.

    First, I love that painting. Second, I love Robert B. Parker's books.

    My plotting strategy? Hmmm... I hate to say it, but it often comes down to, "What else can I do to these characters?" I get a lot of suggestions from my family, who love to suggest especially dire outcomes!
