September Morning Snapshot
"One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and, if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words." --Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
Dropping in to share a September snapshot, taken along the neighborhood walking route this morning--along with wishes for a happy rest-of-the weekend. Hope it's filled with song, poetry, beauty and a few good words!

What a gorgeous photo. I really love it.
ReplyDeleteLove this picture and lovely kind words to close a restful weekend for me. Thanks! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite times of year. I always feel a little nostalgic. That's the ex-teacher in me missing those third-graders coming back to school!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture! Makes me want to find a lazy chair and write. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely! I like these kinds of photos - so many colors and textures and all. This might make a good writing prompt, you know?
ReplyDeleteIncredibly beautiful... thanks so much for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kenda,
ReplyDeleteLove the photo. Love it! Would you mind if I shared it on my Tumblr blog with a link back to this page? Please email me if that's okay!
Thanks for your comment on the blog too. I just posted a response and an example from THE HUNGER GAMES, but wasn't sure if you would see it. Theme is so important, and it's one of the things that we writers overlook too often as a "planned" element, so I hope you find the Don Maass tip as helpful as I did.
Thanks so much for commenting, and for your gorgeous photo this morning!
Best regards,
Martina
Hi Kenda..I love this picture. Your picture brightened my day.
ReplyDeleteThanks, all, for stopping in--so glad you liked the picture. Karen--I agree that it would make a good writing prompt :-) and Martina, I'd be honored for you to share it on your Tumblr blog. Off to send you an email to let you know! I'm still contemplating your recent post on theme, btw :-)Very helpful...
ReplyDeleteLove it! It makes me want to be there in real life!
