"In a way--nobody sees a flower--really--it is so small--we haven't time--and to see takes time, like to have a friend takes time." --Georgia O'Keefe, Painter

Just a writerly thought about taking time to see as we head into the last weekend in March. And not only for the purpose of aiming to become better writers--but also in our journeys to become better friends.
What will you take time to do this weekend?
Have a good one.

My 2-year-old is growing up so fast. This post reminded me to stop and really see the person she is at this age, and appreciate the joy she finds in simple things--the wonder. It's a beautiful thing :) Thanks for the post (I love Georgia O'Keefe, by the way)!
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful weekend as well! :)
ReplyDeleteI love how this quote brings my focus to people...family, friends, relationships...they're some of the most important things. A great weekend to you too!

I wish I had the time this weekend! I am working both days, stressed as I am still so new and will be alone on Sunday in the ER.:) Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI will be reading this weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt's a rainy Spring weekend in Atlanta, so I'll be wrapped up doing some reading and some writing as well.
ReplyDeleteHope you have (had) a great weekend. :)
Love this. Thank you.
